Description
Tried a new way of painting this.. didnt use emphezised Lineart from scratch, but used colour first, trying to create the "lines" with shading instead.. Didnt manage to do it all through, but, at least im satisfied with the face..

Early Arab soldiers didn't use scimitars. Instead, Arab swords resembled the Roman gladius or spathas. The cavalry wore lighter armor than the infantry, probably thick leather, while the infantry wore several coats of mail or leather or both and was more widely used than cavalry. Anyways, good job on the drawing, looks amazing.
P.S. Don't be fooled by Arab stereo types. Arabs ranged from being dark swarthy skinned Yemenis to fair skinned Levantines.
