-Layer 1: tunic and paggy pants in brown, the pants are a slightly lighter color. + boots
-Layer 2: sleeveles kneelong tunic made of small patched together leather pieces... used maybe 16 different leather, gathered up from scraps from furniture stores and leftovers from other projects. the gloves would also be added to this layer, they where made from old leather gloves that i cut of the fingers on, then replaced some of the leather with a different kind, so that they wouldnt look as modern and factory made. also sewed on coconut plates over the knuckles.
-Layer 3: "Armour", this was mostly made from 3 different types of leather, i combined the different types in all armor parts to make them look rougher. ( the types of leather was a 5mm black cow skin, a 5mm brown cow skin, and a 8mm hardened brown buffalo skin ) the armour parts where: 2 wristguards, one shoulderguard for my right shoulder, and one leather piece for my right upper arm. also used a pigs hipbone to cover up my second shoulder.
-Layer 4: 1 special belt that i had tied scraps of torn up cloth to, as well as the "loincloth" part + strings with hanging pieces of bird and chicken bones. 1 belt that helt pouches and bags. then a couple of other belts for show.
-Layer 5: Weapons, in this case a small dagger on my left upper arm, to cover the "empty" space there, as well as 2 swords on my back with straps around my chest.
layer 6: the rest.. in this case, a couple of necklaces of beads and bones, as well as 2 sets of 3 meter long scarfs around my neck. + maybe 7 thin scraps of torn cloth that i tied and wrapped around empty spots, as well as hung from "empty" spots on my waist, so that more stuff would hang down, and mess up the general focus points.
this got longer than i thought, but to sum it up, what i hoped to do was to break of as many visual focus points as possible, and fill it up with details and things that hung, and would move and flap around when i did.
Hope that erhm, answered what you asked for...sorta?
